I want to let you know about a couple of events happening at the Kerouac House of St. Petersburg in January. Both events will be held at the Kerouac House, 5169 10th Ave N, St Petersburg, FL 33774
The second edition of our monthly house concert series – Songwriter Club - features acclaimed songwriter Leon Majcen . There will be special guests including the host of Songwriter Club, St. Pete’s own Shawn Kyle. The show is Saturday 01/11 from 6-10pm. Please join us for a night of song in this historic atmosphere.

Next, the January edition of our monthly poetry series Coffee and Poetry at Jack’s House is on Sunday 01/26 from 3-6pm and features internationally recognized poet Ray McNiece and special guest Jane Ross Fallon. Ray McNiece has authored eleven books of poems, monologues, and CDs, most recently Love Song for Cleveland, a collaboration with photographer Tim Lachina, and Breath Burns Away, New Haiku. Jane Ross Fallon is a folk phenomenon who will sing her tribute to Jack Kerouac in this exclusive presentation. She is a veteran performer whose smooth, rich voice and well-written songs are praised nationwide.
Please join us for this special afternoon of poetry and connection with like-minded folks. As usual, Larry Jaffe, Lifetime Beat Poet Laureate and Poet in Residence at the Kerouac House, will MC the event.
