Join us on Sunday May 22 at 3pm for an intimate afternoon of poetry at this month’s Coffee and Poetry reading and open mic. Clinton Inman is a noted local painter and poet. If you’ve ever been in the Kerouac House, you’ve seen Clinton’s work hanging next to Jack’s. Sip on delicious coffee and pastries as you immerse yourself in the words and paintings of our Tampa Bay artists. There will be a $10 cover charge featuring baked goods from Chef Shelley.
2. Next, come support our first ever monthly gathering of Storytelling at the Kerouac House of St. Petersburg! This month's featured storyteller is local favorite Walt Belcher, storyteller, poet, comic, and general literary scenester. The incomparable Victoria Dym hosts the event. There will also be an open mic (each story 5-7 minutes, sign up at the event) & coffee and desserts at the intermission. Tickets are $10.
