Hi Folks: On Saturday, March 23rd we will be celebrating the birthday of Jack Kerouac at the Flamingo Sports Bar in St Petersburg from 7-11 PM.

The celebration will benefit The Jack Kerouac House of St. Petersburg, Inc. a non-profit that preserves and promotes the literary heritage of Jack Kerouac in St Petersburg.

Peter Balakian, winner of the 2016 Pulitzer Prize for Poetry, will share excerpts of his upcoming memoir at the Jack Kerouac House of St. Petersburg on Sunday, March 24, at 3 PM.
His appearance is the latest presentation of Coffee and Poetry at Jack’s House, a monthly reading and open mic hosted by Lifetime Beat Poet Laureate and Poet in Residence Larry Jaffe to continue the poetic legacy of Jack Kerouac at his final residence. https://stpetekerouachouse.com

There is a $10 cover charge which includes coffee or other beverages and a scratch-made pastry from Chef Shelley.
